We're Back!!!!

Yes after a two and a half year hibernation, John Evans Racing is back on the net. The team has a lot to talk about and a lot to look forward to in 2004. The team is now a three car team that includes John's trusty Super Comp Dragster, now driven by one of the up and coming local drag racing star's, Cory Thompson. In 2003, John debuted his blown alcohol rear-engine Top Comp Dragster, which has run low to mid 7's at over 180 mph. The third car is Buzz and Cory Thompson's Stock eliminator Firebird. To go along with the new cars and team members, John and Darlene Evans are pleased to announce that Lucas Oil Canada has signed on as a major associate for all three team cars. The sponsorship allows the team to take a much more aggressive charge at the Lucas Oil series in Division 6 as well as competing locally and in the IHRA in Alberta. The team would also like to announce the re-signing of SpeedZone Magazine as a Major Associate and River City Nissan in Kamloops. Jet Tools Canada has also come on board as the official tool of John Evans racing. Previous sponsors back to support the team include again include G&M Trailers, Norris and Co. Signs and Kerrisdale Speed Centre. Our race schedule will be up soon, but our confirmed first event is next weekend at Boise for the first Division 6 Lucas Oil event.
